Closing your Prepped account will end your access and remove your identifying details. Your subscriptions and learning history will no longer be available.
You can still close your account here if you have uninstalled the app.
If you cannot access that email address or need help, email legal@preppedexams.co.za. We may ask you to verify your identity.
What We Delete
When you confirm account deletion through this form, we deactivate your account and anonymise its identifying account and profile details. De-identified learning, subscription, payment, and other usage records remain linked to the anonymised account record for platform integrity and audit purposes.
Some records may need to be retained where required or permitted by law, including payment, tax, audit, fraud prevention, dispute, security, and regulatory records. Where we retain information for these reasons, we limit its use to the lawful purpose that requires retention.
Delete Data Without Deleting Your Account
If you want to request deletion of specific data without deleting your full account, email legal@preppedexams.co.za and explain what information you want reviewed.
Include the words Data deletion request. We may ask you to verify your identity and may need to retain some records where required or permitted by law.
Response Time
We aim to acknowledge deletion requests within a reasonable time and process them in line with applicable South African privacy and record-retention laws.
